Biblical Cosmology Wall Art
Firmament diagrams, Genesis prints, and sacred cosmological plates drawn from Scripture, ancient Hebrew cosmology, and the older Christian visual record.
In the beginning, the waters were divided.
Above the firmament lie the celestial waters, with Sol and Luna tracing their appointed paths beneath the vault of heaven. Below rests the inhabited earth, its mountains rising above the deep and its rivers running toward the outer sea. Beneath the earth lies Sheol, the realm of the departed, descending through the foundations of the world. Below all is the Great Deep—the primordial abyss associated with the waters of creation and the dark dwelling of Leviathan.
This original Etherfolk reconstruction brings together cosmological imagery found across Genesis, Job, the Psalms, and related ancient Jewish texts. Rather than reproducing one surviving historical diagram, it gathers those scriptural elements into a single visual model of the biblical world: the firmament above, the inhabited earth below, Sheol beneath, and the Great Deep at the foundation.
Rendered in antique gold against deep navy, the composition draws from the visual language of medieval illuminated manuscripts and sacred cosmological charts. Angels occupy the corners, the created order unfolds through clearly defined strata, and the inscription at the base reads, “To the Glory of the Almighty Creator.”
The piece is intended as a work of sacred cosmological art: a modern reconstruction shaped by Scripture, historical interpretation, and the long visual tradition of giving structure to the heavens, the earth, and the deep.
Printed on heavyweight artist-grade canvas and mounted within a solid pine floating frame, it arrives ready to hang. The recessed open-back construction allows the canvas to sit within the frame with a narrow surrounding gap, giving the work a restrained, architectural presence.

The waters were divided. The firmament was set in place. The record remains in the text.
Framed poster mapping the Christian cosmological order as a medieval illuminated manuscript, from Christ enthroned above to Tartarus below.
“In principio creavit Deus caelum et terram.”
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:1
Rendered with floral vine borders, angelic figures, gold-leaf ornament, Latin Scripture inscriptions, and labelled strata, this piece sets the older biblical order into a formal manuscript plate.
The image descends from Christ enthroned in the heavens through the Waters Above the Firmament, the Firmament, the inhabited Earth, Sheol, Abyssus, and Tartarus. Each region is marked with its corresponding Scripture reference, preserving the structure as both devotional image and archival diagram.
For prayer rooms, studies, libraries, church offices, and walls where the record is still allowed to remain visible.

The heavens were not left unmarked.
Framed poster depicting the firmament of Genesis 1:6–8, with the waters above, the sea below, and the appointed lights beneath the vault.
This old-world biblical print renders the firmament as sacred architecture: a golden dome dividing the upper waters from the lower world. Angels stand beneath the structure, the moon is set within the heavens, and the lower horizon opens over mountains, ocean, and first light.
The parchment cartouche preserves the text:
“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
A framed scripture piece for study rooms, pastor offices, libraries, homeschool spaces, and walls where the older record is still permitted to remain visible.

The division was recorded before it was revised.
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." — Genesis 1:1
Christ Pantocrator sits enthroned above the created order, set against a field of gold and attended by two archangels. Beneath Him, the firmament forms the boundary between the heavens and the inhabited world below. The earth appears as a bounded disc surrounded by sea, with church, river, and mountain arranged across its surface. Below, Sheol opens through the foundations as a dark cavern, fire visible within, while four angels kneel at the corners of the composition.
This original Etherfolk composition draws on Byzantine iconography, biblical cosmological imagery, and the ordered visual language of illuminated manuscripts. It does not reproduce one surviving historical icon. Instead, it gathers these elements into a single sacred cosmological plate: Christ above, the firmament between, the inhabited earth below, and Sheol beneath the world.
Rendered in deep blue, antique gold, ivory, and warm ink-black, the piece is designed to carry the gravity of an icon while remaining clear about what it is: a modern work shaped by Scripture and historic Christian visual tradition.
Printed on heavyweight artist-grade canvas and mounted within a solid pine floating frame, it arrives ready to hang. The open-back construction gives the canvas a restrained, architectural presence without unnecessary ornament.

The order of creation, rendered in gold and pigment.
From the Wider Cosmology Archive
Egyptian, Norse, Vedic, Mayan, and other ancient cosmological systems, each rendered according to its own visual tradition.
Yggdrasil at the center of all things. Midgard encircled by Jörmungandr, the world serpent biting its own tail. The Bifrost bridge arcing upward to the golden spires of Asgard above the clouds. Viking longships navigating the outer ocean. The roots descending into the cold dark of Niflheim below.
This is not mythology. This is cosmology — encoded, preserved, and recovered.
Rendered in the tradition of Flemish cartographic engravers, this framed canvas maps the full Norse nine realms with the precision of a survey plate and the drama of an illuminated manuscript.
An artifact from an archive someone tried to close.

The thirteen heavens above. The flat earth disc — Cipactli the cosmic crocodile, the world tree rising from center, two Bacab figures holding up the sky. Xibalba below, its skeletal lords and jaguar deities rendered in gold on carbon black.
A complete Mayan cosmology. Recovered. Woven.
Rendered in the visual tradition of the Dresden Codex — flat profile figures, pre-Columbian pigment palette, amate ground — this woven tapestry brings one of the most sophisticated cosmological systems ever encoded into physical form. Every zone distinct. Every figure deliberate. Nothing invented.
It is not decoration. It is an artifact.

"He made the sky and the earth according to his heart's desire."
— Egyptian Book of the Dead
Nut arches across the composition as the star-covered sky, her body forming the celestial vault above the world. Beneath her, Shu stands with arms raised, holding sky and earth apart. Ra’s solar barque moves through the heavens, carrying the sun and its divine company across the ordered expanse. Below, Geb reclines as the earth itself, with river, vegetation, and sacred architecture emerging from his body.
This original Etherfolk composition draws on ancient Egyptian cosmological imagery in which the structure of creation is expressed through divine form: sky as goddess, earth as god, air as the force that separates them, and the solar barque as the appointed vessel of celestial passage.
The work does not reproduce one surviving papyrus or tomb scene. It gathers several familiar elements of Egyptian sacred cosmology into a single modern plate, arranged in the flat, hierarchical visual language associated with New Kingdom wall painting and papyrus illustration.
Rendered with mineral tones, firm black outlines, and a restrained absence of perspective, the composition preserves the clarity of the source tradition without presenting the finished work as an antique or recovered document.
Printed on heavyweight artist-grade canvas and mounted within a solid pine floating frame, it arrives ready to hang. The open-back construction gives the piece a quiet, architectural presence suited to study rooms, libraries, and spaces devoted to sacred history.

The sky was given form. The earth was given a body. The order between them remained.
Every cosmology accounted for this moment. None of them called it an ending.
The scene is drawn from the Egyptian cosmological record — Nut as the sky, Geb as the earth beneath her, the sun at the threshold of its nightly passage. Rendered in authentic papyrus painting style: ochre ground, deep blue-black, gold detail.

· Single folded card with envelope
· 5×7 inches
· Premium matte card stock
The record outlasts the moment.
